MALANG CITY

Malang had begun to grow and to develop since the Colonial Government came to Indonesia. Public facilities are planned well to require the colonial's family. This discriminative impression still exists until now. For example, only colonial of Holland and European are able to enjoy around Ijen Boulevard Area, while the local resident must have been satisfied to live in the sub urban area with inadequate facility. That housing area seems to keep a mystery until now which invites the Colonials who have ever been lived there for memorable rendezvous.

City Square
Aloon - aloon Kota (City Square) on Merdeka Street is a pretty city park to enjoy the evening. Its surrounded by old building like Jami' mosque and Church. Hundreds dove live here, and in the middle, there is a charming pool. The City square is a beautiful park circled by old buildings like Catholic Church and few shopping centers.

Monument Juang '45
Monument Juang '45 (Struggling Statue) on Jalan Kertanegara, right in front of Malang Train Statin. This monument figured a giant killed by the people power that reflected the independence war in 1945.

BALAI KOTA (CITY HALL)
Balai Kota (City Hall) on Jalan Tugu is an old-Dutch-building, tha charming Aloon-aloon bunder in front of it, is used to be JP. Zoen Coen Park. Tugu statue decorated with the water-lily pool surrounding with the giant-shady Trembesi trees.

Ijen Boulevard
Ijen Boulevard decorated with bougenville flowers and palm trees with the background of old-fashioned-Dutch architecture houses. Brawijaya Army Museum located in this boulevard with its old weapons used in independence war. Beside that, Immanuel Church and the Public Library also located across the road, it has thousands of literatures.
